A Career Built on High-Stakes Communication & Leadership

Michelle Jahnke is a senior communications strategist, executive advisor, and former broadcast journalist and producer with more than two decades of experience helping leaders and organizations navigate moments that matter. Her expertise spans executive communications, crisis and change management, media relations, internal communications, reputation strategy, and leadership advisory across global enterprises.

Michelle's career began in journalism, spending a decade as a broadcast journalist and producer for major financial news organizations, including CNBC and Bloomberg. Working in fast-paced, high-stakes live financial news environments, she developed the ability to distill complex information, communicate with clarity, and perform under pressure—skills that continue to define her advisory approach today.

Following her journalism career, Michelle transitioned into communications leadership and advisory roles supporting some of the world's most recognized organizations and brands. Her experience spans global enterprises, agency leadership, live broadcast media, and work supporting major brands including Mars, McDonald’s, CNBC, Bloomberg, Nike, PayPal, Merck, and Microsoft. In these environments, she helped support communications strategies related to business transformation, organizational change, executive visibility, employee engagement, media relations, and reputation management.

Today, Michelle serves as a trusted advisor to executives, leadership teams, and organizations facing critical moments of growth, change, complexity, and scrutiny. Her unique combination of newsroom experience, enterprise leadership, and executive counsel allows her to bridge the worlds of leadership, communications, culture, and stakeholder engagement with uncommon insight and credibility.

Few advisors bring deep expertise across executive communications, crisis response, change communications, media strategy, internal communications, and leadership advisory. Michelle's career has been built at the intersection of these disciplines, helping leaders communicate with confidence, navigate uncertainty, and strengthen trust when it matters most.
